Speaking of Alexander McQueen, Savage Beauty Exhibit was one of the biggest events of the year. For celebrating the works of McQueen, the Met Costume Institute hosted a gala benefit to honour the magnificent work of the late Alexander McQueen. It showed McQueen's approximately one hundred pieces which brought a celeb attraction with a red carpet event. Also, it drew over half a million visitors flocked to the Met over the course of the show’s run from May by August, creating it a eighth biggest uncover on record during a Met.
