We really wanted to go to England for our honeymoon, but didn't want to go in October/November right after the wedding. The November month is extremely busy for us with
Thanksgiving and work obligations. We also wanted to celebrate our first Halloween together as a married couple with Josh and our new place. Because of all this, we are taking our honeymoon the first week in December. We are very excited!
Why did we choose Bath? Well, for one, Jessica's favorite author, Jane Austen, used Bath in many of her stories and also frequented there herself. There is also a museum dedicated to her there. Another reason is that it is a little smaller than London, but close enough that we will be able to take the train into London whenever we would like. It is also a good base location to explore other places in England. Lastly, they have a famous Christmas festival during the time we are there.
We can't wait to experience the Christmas spirit there!
